I have a lifelong fascination with the past and with all human cultures, this is my passion and I'm driven to share that passion with others. I want to introduce students to the wonder of new peoples, places, events, and ideas that will expand their understanding and appreciation for the world in which we live.

Along with my love of studying, discussing, and writing about history, I'm devoted to working with horses (I've been riding for some ten years now) and there's nothing I enjoy more than watching movies, old and new, that are either brilliant and powerful or [guilty pleasure] so hopelessly bad that they're hilarious!
