My basic philosophy is that school learning and learning outside of school can complement each other to contribute the necessary skills to complete compulsory education. I've expanded my philosophy in that I believe online sites, social sites, and educational game-type learning should not be immediately dismissed due to fear of misuse, fear of inattentive students, and fear of oversaturation of their use.

I love to collect and read books and some of my favorite authors are J.R.R.Tolkien and Harper Lee. I enjoy making jewelry and gardening. I wish to pet a giraffe someday. I have a dog, Cooper, a cat Grayson, and I have two beautiful daughters. I am continuing university classes because I love to learn as well as to teach.
