About Me
I'm passionate about teaching. My favorite jobs have involved working with students. I began working with high schoolers and middle schoolers at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the U.S. Senate, giving tours of the building while simultaneously leading debates on current Senate bills. Since then, I have worked as an English SAT tutor. I was also the teaching coordinator of the community service branch of Boston University International Affairs Association for two years. I have previously helped high school juniors prepare for SAT Evidence-based Reading & Writing. I taught students how to recognize rhetorical devices and how to analyze scientific, historical, and literary writing. Additionally, I created weekly grammar worksheets and vocabulary quizzes. I also read college essays and walked students through the college application process. After studying for two months, I obtained an 173 on the September LSAT-Flex. As a result, I am familiar with the new format. I am also familiar with almost all the previously released practice tests. I can help my students gain an understanding of the general LSAT structure -- from the organization of each section to what a typical question looks like. I am patient and willing take extra time with students. If a student struggles with a concept, I will make extra time to help.
