I love teaching. Since then, I have always been a math tutor and have continued to tutor in other subjects as well, including Spanish and U.S. history as well as tests such as the SAT and ACT. I have also tutored students from ages 5-17.My teaching philosophy entails a lot of practice and self-discovery. From my own experiences with challenging subjects, I know that going the extra mile by doing more practice problems than are actually assigned or watching videos on certain concepts helps reinforcement and allows students to thrive in the classroom. As a tutor, I like to guide students in the correct direction and help them gain footing when learning a new subject; however, I also like to give students independence so they can determine their best method for learning.
