I received my Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. In addition, I completed post-graduate studies at Old Dominion University in Elementary Education Since graduation, I have further expanded my studies and skills as an early childhood educator, perinatal professional, and yoga teacher who teaches special populations, such as pregnant persons, seniors, and kids. I am also a freelance writer for various publications. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English, Writing Composition, and History . I enjoy seeing students-children to adults-have "light bulb" moments when they begin understanding and thus, enjoying their learning experience. I believe education should be meaningful, relevant, and, most of all, enjoyable so that it remains a life endeavor. My hobbies include reading, crafting, crocheting, painting, traveling, yoga, and collecting Harry Potter and DC comics paraphernalia.
