I tutored college level courses and taught independent living skills to college students with special needs (mostly autistic spectrum disorders) for 6 years before becoming a middle and high school teacher for students with unique emotional needs for two years. These experiences have allowed me to develop the skill to accurately assess a student's comprehension of a subject and then provide instruction using strategies for multiple intelligences in a approachable manner.
