I am also a certified teacher for grades K-5 and I have experience as an Early Intervention Program teacher for Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade. My favorite subject is Math- and I have tutored struggling middle and high school students and helped them meet standards that they were previously failing. I am also interested in helping students enjoy reading and discussing what they have read. I believe that the key to learning is making the material accessible and real to a student, so I do my best to explain at the student's level and relate the subject to the student's interests.
