Ive always loved teaching and have plenty of experience as a tutor, substitute teacher, teaching assistant, Big Sister Mentor, and Peer Coach. By working with so many different individuals, Ive learned to personalize my tutoring methods to best match each of my students learning styles and needs. It is important to me to get to know my students and figure out the best way to help them achieve their goals! Although I tutor in a variety of subjects, I am most passionate about math. It fills me with pride every time my students start to build up their confidence after weve worked together to turn a confusing concept into something they can master. In every subject I tutor, its important to me to find a way to engage my students and make the topic interesting to them. In my spare time, you can find me exploring the city, playing piano, drawing, swimming, biking, baking, or relaxing on Netflix!
