I recently graduated with a Masters of Science Degree in Neuroscience from Tulane University and I have a Bachelor of Science Degree from Spelman College in Biochemistry. While in graduate school, in addition to being a research assistant, I was a teaching assistant for three years in several science course (including neuroscience, biochemistry, and psychology). I specialize in tutoring math courses leading up to Calculus II and many biological science courses. I believe every student can learn complex material, just sometimes needs it explained and broken down in a different way that meets the students need of understanding, which is where I come in to help. I oftentimes think differently due to having a scientific background. Therefore I have had to formulate different ways of viewing similar material which has equipped me with the ability to teach the same material in multiple ways with several teaching styles that is geared towards those I tutor.
