About Me

I have always loved working with people, especially students. I have done a wide variety of activities related to teaching: I led a Special Olympics Organization at my school, taught swimming lessons to all ages, coached a swim team, coached other sports, and have tutored younger students. I really enjoyed standardized tests when I was in high school and have a lot of practice helping others with them. I am excited to figure out how to help more students meet their goals!

My teaching philosophy is to guide learning. I want to watch the student attempt various similar problems before I jump in and help. That way, I know that we are not just going through the motions.
