Hello! As a newly minted PhD holder in Genetics and Molecular Biology, I am especially interested in helping students that are applying to graduate school. I have three years of experience tutoring students from a wide variety of backgrounds; most of this experience involved preparations for the GRE or SAT. I have also taught high school and college students in science and mathematics. My approach to tutoring encourages students to build upon their strengths and to gain confidence in question areas that they once found challenging. I achieve these ends through accurate diagnostics, effective introduction of content and strategy, and positive reinforcement of progress. Each tutorial entails an individualized approach to maximize time and effectiveness. To me, there is nothing more rewarding than helping a student raise his/her test scores to gain entrance into the school of choice. I look forward to working with you.
