As I completed my degree, I spent about three years working as a tutor – a time during which I had the opportunity to help students of a wide range of ages: from elementary school kids, to high school seniors and college sophomores. After graduation, I worked as a journalist for about a year, and then went back to FIU, where I am currently preparing in order to apply for a PhD program in Social Psychology. I can also help with preparation for standardized tests, such as SAT and GRE, which I particularly enjoy. I think academic success depends not only on practice, but, most importantly, on finding the correct approach to learning. Each person, I believe, has a different way of processing information and, as a tutor, it is one of my priorities to help students develop the critical thinking methods problem-solving skills that work best for them. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and writing, watching TV series, and anything related to the game of soccer.
