About Me

I graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso. I double majored in Biology and English & American Literature. I have worked as a tutor for over two years with English as a Second Language (ESL) students at the high school level. I tutor Science (Biology, Physics), Mathematics (Algebra, Algebra I), and English. I enjoy tutoring Math and Physics the most because I see it like a puzzle that needs to be solved. I don't have a standard way of teaching; I prefer to meet with the student and adapt my manner of teaching to what works best for them. When I'm not working, I enjoy reading books, and if there is a movie adaptation I'll happily watch it.
