I love to teach. I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Biological Basis of Behavior. I graduated from Rutgers University with an M.B.A. in Finance. I also have an M.S. in Business Education, from Robert Morris University. I've reaped rich rewards from the opportunities learning has afforded me. After years earning a good living in the business world, I decided it was time to give back. So, I went back to school to become a certified Teacher. I love helping students make abstract concepts concrete. So subjects like Algebra, Geometry, Computer Programming, Finance, Marketing, Economics, in addition to other subjects, have been very fun for me to teach. In turn, I have been amply rewarded day after day by my students, who have taught me so much. My teaching style is built upon a foundation of trust and understanding. My students learn best when they feel confident and can trust that everything will turn out fine. I teach them by connecting their strengths and experiences to the new learning challenge before them. I help them to focus on what they already know as a platform for new learning. I make the uncertainties less threatening and the certainty of success more compelling.
