I am a graduate of Brandeis University, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in History and Psychology. I am also a recent graduate of University College London, where I received my Master of Science in Child Development. I have been tutoring for several years, beginning in high school when I tutored as part of the community service component of the International Baccalaureate Program. I have since then continued tutoring in various subjects and at a range of levels. Some of my favorite subjects include English, Math (up through the Algebra II level), Social Sciences, and SAT/ACT preparation. I enjoy contributing to the success of my students and seeing them improve in their skills, scores, and attitude towards learning. I make a point of getting to know each student so I can meet his or her specific needs and teach in a compatible style. Most of all, I make my lessons engaging and interactive and focus on genuine learning rather than rote memorization. In my spare time I enjoy travel, cooking, reading, running, and writing.
