About Me
My background primarily involves helping liberal arts students experience math and science in a way that makes sense to them. In high school, I struggled with math and science classes and believed that I would never be good at them. After a break of several years, I'm currently in the middle of an undergraduate in Applied Mathematics. I was fortunate enough to have a paradigm shift in the way I perceived myself and the world around me and love getting to share the good news with others: people who prefer reading and making music and art can also do great in their other classes, especially when the math and science is presented the right way. In my free time I like to spin, knit, sew and translate Latin and Old English. I also enjoy comparing the folklore of various cultures, writing music and collecting trivia.
