Next year, I will become a Genetics PhD student at Stanford University. I have experience tutoring people of all ages and backgrounds in science and math. I find tutoring to be a rewarding experience and I view it as a way to pay-it-forward, as I have also needed the assistance of tutors throughout my academic career. My expertise stems from the coursework in my undergraduate degree and from my previous job as a paid scientific researcher. As the only scientist in a large family, I am also very good at communicating scientific and mathematical concepts in refreshing and understandable ways.
