I'm Erintrude, a recent graduate of Kenyon College and an MFA candidate at NCSU. I have two years of experience tutoring elementary level reading and writing for two different families, and miscellaneous tutoring experience in the fields of French, English and Test Prep (SAT and ACT). As a co-founder and head editor of a publishing press at my college, for a year and a half I have run workshops where I assigned contemporary literature, and taught these pieces to deepen reader's comprehension. Currently I am teaching a class of high schoolers in a summer program offered by the publishing press. I have experience with World Literature and translation studies as well. I'm passionate about language and I'm passionate about understanding. I tailor my teaching to the student, and in that sense we grow together in an environment of patience, support, and love for learning.

I am a lifelong learner, and I look forward to helping students with their studies as I work through my own. After graduating Princeton, I worked at a number of tech firms, including Google, but I've recently found myself back in the classroom as I prepare to pursue a PhD in Psychology.

I am graduate from UNC Chapel Hill where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. I am also a member of Mensa and enjoy exercising and playing basketball or tennis in my free time.

I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in Physics. I work with students in a variety of subjects, including Math, Physics, and Chemistry. I have experience working with students on the Autism spectrum and with ADHD.

I am currently studying English literature and secondary education at Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina. I love Game of Thrones, Warhammer, and YouTube channels about world travel and languages. I am currently learning Spanish and Arabic, and I hope to be fluent in both someday. My biggest bucket list item is to travel to Bolivia and see the Salar de Uyuni. I have had extensive experience as a tutor of all ages, from helping kindergarteners learn to read and write English to working with adult students on their term papers for college. I am available to tutor reading, writing, basic Spanish, SAT/ACT prep, algebra, geometry, and study skills. As your tutor, my goal is to provide you with the tools to catch your own mistakes rather than just correcting them myself. I'm an archaeology PhD student at the University of Pennsylvania with extensive teaching experience at the college level. I've taught at Penn, University of the Sciences, and Methodist University in various social sciences, including anthropology, sociology, statistics, public health, and psychology. As a teacher, I'm guided by the idea that what I'm doing with students should be useful to them long-term. Making topics interesting, relevant, and accessible is of paramount importance because it allows students to hone skills that they'll use for the rest of their lives. Teaching is fun for me because I love getting to facilitate and witness my students' breakthroughs. There's nothing better than getting to that eureka moment!

I have recently retired from the HiTech industry as an Engineering Executive with a Professional Engineering License practicing more than 35yrs. Additionally, my MS Mechanical Engineering Degree was focused on Structural Mechanics as a specialty. Since retirement from industry, I have been a substitute High School teacher for Math and Science along with being a Varsity Tutor. Both educational roles allow me to be a mentor by helping future STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) students grow educationally, and Engineers pass their FE & PE Exams in achieving Engineering Licensure. The FE & PE License Exam Curriculum that I have developed is highly successful with over a 90% passing rate for those students tutored.

I am not tutoring or working, I spend my spare time swimming, watching sports, basketball or football, and cooking. I look forward to working with you!

I am currently in the process of receiving my degree and certification from North Carolina State University. I have taken a large portion of my classes through the Distance Education program so I am well-versed in virtual learning.
