I graduated magna cum laude from my high school as salutatorian in 2018, with distinction from Duke University with a B.S. in neuroscience in 2022 and am an incoming graduate student at Columbia University. Although each of my academic experiences posed different challenges, one thing made me successful at each stage- my zeal for learning. In my experience as a tutor and in my future endeavors, I want to impart this excitement for learning to each of my students. In tutoring sessions, I introduce topics in fun and engaging ways while thoroughly teaching key concepts and important skills. I then give students the opportunity to personally engage with the material by exploring and problem-solving. I am a Junior Computer Science and Cognitive Science Dual Major at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. I began tutoring when I was in High School, helping both peers and students in Elementary and Middle School. I am passionate about helping others learn and become the best versions of themselves because I believe it will lead to a more functional society. While I am able to tutor in many subjects, I feel most strongly able to help with Mathematics and Computer Science.

I am a current Undergraduate Student at Michigan Technological University, studying General Engineering planning to pursue a dual major in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. Have written books, edited books, and published books, including bestsellers, and have written TV scripts. Have edited more than 100 books and tens of thousands of news and feature articles. Taught writing at two universities, one college, one community college, and have tutored grade school and high school students, college students, and adults. Degree in journalism, grad study in history.

I'm pursuing a double major in Mathematics and English at Vanderbilt University. I have been tutoring math since High School and have native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese. I am dedicated to helping students explore the study methods that will fit their individual needs.

I graduated from UNC- Chapel Hill December 2015 and will be going to medical school this fall. I know how much of a struggle the MCAT can be. I put a lot of time and effort into it last year and came out successful. I know I can be a valuable resource to get you prepared for what seems like such a daunting test!

My philosophy as an educator is that every child can learn. I believe that often in education children are given up on if they cannot grasp a concept when in fact it is the education system that is failing the child. Every child has their own way of learning, and as an educator, it is my mission to make sure that every child achieves his/her goals.I am originally from Orlando, FL but relocated to Massachusetts a little over a year ago. I went to the University of Central Florida where I obtained my Bachelors in Elementary Education. I have six years experience in education and five years experience as a tutor. I love spending time outdoors with my family and watching sporting events.

I am currently at the University of Texas at Austin pursuing a bachelor degree in petroleum engineering. Since January 2016, I have been tutoring Math and Physics at my current college. These two subjects are my favorites because I am proficient. My tutoring style consists in having my students complete some practice problems that encompass the concepts they do not understand in order to identify their needs and help them master what could not before. My interests outside of academia consist in playing soccer and swimming. Also, I like to watch documentaries and movies, to read books, and to go for a walk in my neighborhood.

After transferring from a community college, I graduated from Cornell University in 2020 and received a B.A. in philosophy with Distinction in All Subjects, 4.05 GPA. After, I became a tutor, with English reading and writing and philosophy as some of my subjects. I believe that the sharing and communication of knowledge is an important aspect of human life. I enjoy working with a variety of learning approaches and am glad to assist students and learners attain their potential.
