I am a student at the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Medicine. In high school I was top 3% of my graduating class, part of the National Honor Society, Varsity Soccer Team Captain, and a member of the A Capella and Chamber Choir. My goal is help students not only do well in their desired subjects, but to understand why it is important. I look forward to working with you!

Though I'm now a few years removed from academia, I still consider myself an intellect at heart. Stints at New York University's Stern School of Business and Northwestern University have given me extensive scholastic training, and running my own private tutoring service throughout college as a means of making a living has helped me exercise and refine my skill set as a personal academic instructor. Partnering up with Varsity Tutors has provided me with a golden opportunity to continue helping students hone their own academic performance across a wide array of subjects, and my own tutoring background, coupled with my flexible schedule as a by-day real estate investor and independent business owner who possesses total control over his hours, puts me in a unique position to better accommodate the students I work with to ensure that they receive the attention and quality service they deserve.

I'm hoping to use this summer to help someone else get ahead academically. I've tutored college-level biology courses at Mizzou, but am comfortable with a variety of science courses at any level.

I am a current undergraduate student at Iowa State University working to obtain my Bachelor's of Science degree. As a lover of learning, I fully believe that every student should be able to feel comfortable in their schooling and take pride in their academic achievements. That is why I am dedicated to helping students gain a better comprehension of certain subjects and foster effective studying skills. I tutor for the ACT exam as well as middle school math and science, biology and algebra.

I am in school at Grand Canyon University and am working on obtaining a degree in Elementary Education. I currently work full-time as a literacy interventionist in a local elementary school. I'm very good at staying organized and enjoy most school subjects.
