I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Clark Atlanta University, and a Master of Science degree in Education Management from Strayer University. The bulk of my teaching experience has been in language and literacy for early learners. Having obtained a Reading Endorsement from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission, I am qualified to teach reading to students in grades P-12. Additionally, I have completed International Dyslexia Association accredited courses in structured literacy and the science of reading through the Georgia Literacy Academy. Most recently, I have begun coursework to obtain a Dyslexia Endorsement from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (August 2026 completion date). I am most passionate about reading and language arts. My goal is to help learners feel comfortable and confident while learning new skills or improving their current skillsets.
