I have also worked in and out of school buildings, online, and with parents and families to ensure the whole child receives a thorough education. I am a firm proponent of a family making a difference in a child's ability to learn and look forward to partnering with whatever support the student has to help him/her reach his/her full potential. I am qualified to tutor any subject for the elementary-aged student, but my favorite things to teach are phonics and reading. I believe the world opens up when a child learns to read and am passionate about ensuring every child access to that world. I am also a firm believer in the quote "those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it" from George Santayana.
