I believe great teaching begins with curiosity, not memorization. Every student is different, so I take the time to learn what excites and motivates them, then build lessons around those interests. Whether I'm helping a middle school student strengthen grammar, preparing a high school student for the PSAT or AP English, or guiding a college student through literary analysis, my goal is to help students understand why something works so they become confident, independent thinkers and writers. As a highly motivated and deeply personalized tutor, I want students to look forward to learning. I love helping them discover that books aren't just assignmentsthey're doorways into new worlds, unforgettable characters, and ideas that can change how they see themselves and others.
