About Me
I have worked in childcare and education with various age groups from infant to middle school as a substitute teacher, babysitter, and assistant teacher. My professional experience combined with continuous education courses help me create curriculum based on the child's development, psychology, and personality. My favorite subject to tutor is English because I value communication and literacy. I am able to tutor in English and Language Arts for grades K-3 on Mondays-Thursdays. My style is adaptive, Socratic, kinesthetic, and incorporates foundation/confidence building, scaffolding, and varied repetition. I love working as a team with the students, parents, and teachers by maintaining communication concerning the child's needs to create the most constructive curriculum for academic improvement.
