I have worked as a math tutor for around 3 years, and I have seen students improve their scores significantly in their classes and standardized tests. I especially enjoy tutoring math since I strongly believe it can be very interesting if taught in an engaging way rather than straight out of a dull textbook. I believe I have this ability to make my tutoring sessions more interactive and productive, and I love being able to help students understand the intuition behind the concepts they learn in class instead of making them simply memorize them. I have taken all math courses up to Calculus 3 and excelled with As in every single one, so I have ample experience in not only working with the subject, but also working with students struggling with the subject. I have also worked with students preparing for their standardized exams such as the SAT and ACT and have seen scores improve dramatically. Overall, sharing my knowledge with others is one of my biggest passions since it gives me the opportunity to convey information by constructing it in my own, unique way that optimizes the student's learning.
