I have always lived by the Golden Rule, to treat everyone the way you want to be treated. This is not a difficult task for me to support. I have always had a mindset of equality and fairness. My exposure to various races and ethnicities has always taught me to do right by others. This is no different than how I manage my classroom or conduct me anywhere I may find myself. This is important that everyone is cordial and respectful to one another. Holding this rule in mind makes me a better educator and an all-around better human being. I absolutely love making sure each student that I encounter, whether individually or in a group setting, understands the concept that there can be "fun in learning".I have taught English in all sectors - middle school, high, and even college-level courses. I love to read and write, and all that goes along with those concepts. I adore bringing English to life - especially since a few other disciplines think that English (language as a whole) is not a critical subject - and this is why I am so enamored with teaching this subject."Without English Language Arts, where would we be?"

My interests and hobbies are reading, writing (creatively or journaling), playing any type of sports (I can be very competitive), going to live sporting events, spending time with my family, and sometimes, just taking care of myself.
