Shaan
- I am a current undergraduate student at Duke University's Pratt School of Engineering.
- As an engineer, I believe one of my greatest strengths is breaking down complex ideas into manageable steps that are easy to follow.
About Me
I am pursuing a bachelor of science in engineering in mechanical engineering, a minor in computer science, and a certificate in innovation and entrepreneurship. I have an abundance of STEM tutoring experience through my high school's National Honors Society chapter and as a freelance tutor. Additionally, I have experience working with children as an instructor for Techsplorer's engineering camps/workshops and as a member of the YMCA Leader's Club. The subjects I enjoy teaching are Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Statistics, Trigonometry, Physics, and SAT/ACT Math and Science Prep. I believe that as a passionate younger college student, I am able to connect with students more effectively, as I was in their shoes not too long ago! Outside of school and teaching, I like to play Ultimate Frisbee, spend time with my dog, and work on personal engineering projects.
