My teaching background primarily involves working with elementary school age children, but I have also conducted workshops for middle schoolers and taught adult learners. I have been a camp counselor for five- and six-year olds, supervised an after school program for first and second graders, prepped kids for a Spelling Bee, directed a drama club for high school students, and conducted acting workshops. At Cornell University, I obtained my BS in Industrial and Labor Relations at the ILR School (also known as the I Love to Read School) with a major in ILR and a minor in Education. As an Education minor, I gained experience working with students with diverse learning styles doing fieldwork as a teacher in the Ithaca area. My passions are voice acting, reading, and teaching young students to master their work so they gain confidence and pride in their abilities. I believe my strength as an educator is the ability to connect with students where they are and to make learning fun and engaging.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading about current events, watching nature shows, skiing, playing guitar, and doing stand-up comedy.
