I didn't know any of the language before I arrived in China, but it was my goal with traveling there to work and study. I ended up taking the HSK 3, HSK 4, and HSK 5 tests over the years and I worked as an English teacher teaching business professionals and giving company training. I really value the time I spent there; China is an interesting place. I am now in the U.S. with my wife, who is Chinese. I like learning about language and culture and how the world works in general. I'm a prolific reader. I like cooking (or trying to cook) all types of food. I also like to exercise and used to play sports for fun when I was younger. We live in Florida, so in our free time we like going to the beach or a forest to enjoy the outdoors.
