10+ years of tutoring
Kendall
- I earned my bachelor's degree in chemistry at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, and my doctorate in pharmacy.
About Me
During college I tutored chemistry, was a teaching assistant for the chemistry department, and taught a home school chemistry co-op. During pharmacy school, I was a tutor for pharmacy students at my school. I primarily tutor science and math. The first thing I do when tutoring is learn about the student. It is helpful for me to know the student's learning style, challenges and struggles with the subject, and their study habits. I also enjoy learning what the student likes to do outside of school. All of this information helps me cater the tutoring session to the student. Outside of academia, I enjoy spending time with my husband, being outside, gardening, fishing, crafting, playing games, and eating food with my family and friends. It's important to spend time doing things you enjoy even when school is busy and overwhelming. It's the best way to give your mind a refresh and return to your studies refocused!
