It is most exciting for me to tutor German and writing because I am incredibly passionate about the German language and culture, and from my perspective bettering one's writing is also a process in bettering one's thinking. I find it rewarding to help students overcome many of the same challenges and hurtles that I and my peers overcame. Tutoring is a way for me to repay a debt I feel I owe to my own teachers by helping others succeed where my teachers helped me succeed. Education is necessary for personal growth and human flourishing as a whole, and I try to embody this attitude while working with students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading philosophy and novels, writing, meditating, slacklining, and playing the occasional video game.
