I graduated from BYU with a bachelor's degree in communication disorders, and I will be working as a speech-language technician for Nebo School District, starting in the fall. I understand that students retain best what they do themselves. For this reason, my tutoring philosophy is to allow the student to go as far as he or she can alone and then give the tools necessary to figure the rest out together. This process continues until the student feels confident doing the work alone.
