As someone who spent the majority of her high school years tutoring both peers and younger students, I was thrilled to hear about Varsity Tutors. My main subjects are English -- reading, writing, test prep, and essay-editing. I have experience working with students of all age-levels, and I'm well-versed in a variety of different learning styles. I like to think of tutoring as a collaborative, constructive process, as I often end up learning as much from my students as (I hope) they learn from me. When I'm not busy with school, I enjoy volunteering, listening to all types of music, and and eating gargantuan amounts of ice cream.
