The excitement that comes with learning something fascinating or overcoming a difficult problem is what drives inspiration. The confidence that can be gained from learning can also inspire others to reach greater heights that might have been previously thought not possible. As a tutor, I strive to share my knowledge and passions with my students so that they can find the same joy that I feel, as I act as a stepping stone for their success. My mission is to prioritize the goals of the student. I will do so by identifying and supplementing the strengths of my students and using those strengths to teach the student how their skills can be used to overcome challenges or weaknesses. I have held many leadership positions at my time at the University of Illinois, such as assistant manager and acting as service chair in the pre-professional organization, Phi Delta Epsilon. These have taught me valuable leadership skills so that I can act as a leader amongst my peers. Finally, I have a wealth of knowledge acquired from earning my degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Having graduated with a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a minor in Chemistry while on the pre-med track, I have acquired knowledge and techniques to pass onto students through a wide range of science courses. The hours I have spent dedicated toward working on my goal of becoming a physician has taught me various stress-coping mechanisms, study skills, and many other useful tips and tricks that I can pass onto my students. Ultimately, I hope that my dedication to my students will supplement their goals and provide anything that can help them get to where they want to be.

I am a big fan of sports and music with golf and rock music being my favorites from each of those. I am a guitar player as well and it is my favorite instrument, so I love to talk about my favorite guitarists and I will listen to anything with a guitar in it. I love to watch most sports, but basketball is a close second behind golf, and I root for the Chicago sports teams. As a University of Illinois graduate, I am an Illini fan despite the struggles that come with it. Finally, I am a dedicated follower of the Flash and Arrow on CW, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Batman so I am always looking for someone to get excited about the latest episodes or movies with.
