I teach Spanish and Italian in a high school during the day and then teach ESL to adults and young children two evenings each week. During the summer months you'd think I'd rest right? Nope! I take my amazing 12 year old son and we travel to Central America to help build homes during the morning hours and I then spend the afternoons alternating between a middle school and a high school teaching ESL. I consider myself blessed to say that I have a career doing something I absolutely love and enjoy! I was raised in New York and received a B.A. in Hispanic Languages and Literature from SUNY Stony Brook. While doing my undergraduate study, I concentrated my studies in the Central and South American regions. My Master's degree is in Romance Languages (Italian/Spanish), also from SUNY Stony Brook. When I am not teaching or studying, I enjoy reading, going to the movies, boxing, and traveling! Well, I think that about wraps me up in a nutshell! Looking forward to meeting you soon!-Esme
