Since the age of 16, I've worked with children starting out as a mother's helper to working as a waitress at Friendly's. At a young age, I always knew I wanted to become a teacher. I have worked in positions as a substitute teacher and special educator while I pursued my studies leading up to a Master's degree in Elementary Education. I enjoy working one on one and watching children progress in their studies. It boosts their confidence and gives themselves a sense of pride.

I enjoy spending time with my family, especially taking my almost seven year old daughter on hikes or to the park. I enjoy reading with her and vice-versa. I love to read when there is some down time. I also love enjoying days at the beach/pool in the sun
