About Me
I am currently a double major at Rice University working towards a B.A. in mathematics and philosophy and expecting to graduate in December 2015. My education is geared towards a future in risk analysis and thus is heavily dependent on high level mathematics. I have about one year of experience tutoring algebra and pre-algebra with good results. I can tutor through 8th grade math including pre-algebra, algebra 1-4, as well as statistics, pre-calculus, and ACT/SAT mathematics prep. My teaching philosophy is that practice makes perfect. When I am not working towards my degree, I am usually playing on a piano or listening to music while maybe skateboarding. I also like to watch lacrosse and rugby matches.
