About Me
I am an educator in the Atlanta metropolitan area. I possess fifteen years of experience teaching in the disciplines of the Social Sciences, Reading, and Mathematics. My pursuit as a life-long learner started in the public school system of New Orleans, Louisiana. Next, I received bachelors degrees in Social Science and Secondary Education from Alabama State University. At this great institution, I played football and was a member of many campus civic groups. The next milestone had me receiving my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Central Michigan University and my educational specialist’s degree from Argosy University. Finally, I find myself embarking on a dream to become the first in my immediate family to receive a doctoral degree. I hold a deep passion for education (Creative Reading, Writing, History, Geography, Social Studies, ect.) and for helping students of all ages. My goals are to inspire and enhance students with the skills to maximize their potential. Away from work, I enjoy flag football, basketball, poetry and cultural arts festivals. My music list and my iPod are a must for easing my mind. I look forward to using my talents to helping you reach your goals.
