Throughout the years of acquiring my degree, I have gained teaching experience through the multiple semesters of teaching a web-hybrid college course called Freshman Skills. This is a required course for students that didn't learn or forgot material from Algebra I and II. The goal of the course is to better their skills in mathematics for future mathematics courses at Bridgewater. Teaching this class each semester brought on different challenges and obstacles. I overcame these obstacles by planning and organizing the day to day classroom activities and also making myself available to my students to come for extra help. Connecting with each and every one of my students brought joy to the difficult days leading up to the students' understanding and being able to do the material with ease. In my spare time, I enjoy balancing watching Netflix and enjoying the beautiful outdoors.
