I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southern CT State University with a BS in Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry in May of 2012. I have two years of tutoring experience at SCSU and I am looking forward to meeting more students through Varsity Tutors. I love science, especially where Chemistry and Biology overlap, and I enjoy teaching others about science and why I love it so much. I come from a more unique background than most recent graduates. I did not attend college right after high school. In fact, it was several years before I returned to college. My experience during that time was invaluable and taught me the importance of higher education. When I returned to college, I worked while studying full time, and I was able to graduate in four years, right on time. I enjoy working with younger people and motivating them to do their best in their academic endeavors. I will do my very best to help your student with their educational needs and hopefully impart my love of math and science to them.

My hobbies include cooking, fitness and weightlifting, bowling, and reading. I also enjoy NFL football, hockey, and other sports.
