Hello! My name is Srishaan Iyengar and I'm a senior at Round Rock High School. Not only do I tutor here, but I also tutor at the local Mathnasium. Some of my favorite hobbies include playing basketball, video games, watching TV shows, and hanging out with my friends.

I have a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, with additional graduate studies in Chemical Engineering and Computer Science, and over 10 years of experience teaching and tutoring STEM subjects. I work with students of different ages, backgrounds, and learning styles in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and related subjects. I believe the best tutoring starts with understanding how each student thinks. My goal is to identify where a concept becomes unclear, explain it from the student's perspective, and help them build both understanding and confidence. Hi, I'm Laura! I graduated summa cum laude from Eastern Washington University with a bachelor's of science degree in mathematics and a minor in sociology. There, I earned the Frances B. Huston award, the most prestigious award given to graduating students, for excellence in academics, leadership, and community service. From there, I became a student at the University of Washington (UW), earning my Master of Science in Applied Mathematics and a position as a PhD student in the department. I was also awarded the Carl S. Pearson award for academic excellence in the Master's program. I have been working as a PhD student since then, with expertise in all types of math including algebra, calculus, linear algebra, and numerical analysis, among others. I also have years of experience coding in both python and matlab! I spent three years as an undergraduate teaching assistant, helping teach both high school and college level math classes. I also taught multiple sections of calculus at the University of Washington as a Master's student, and I have served as a teaching assistant throughout my time at UW. My favorite thing about these positions were the opportunities to work one-on-one with students, developing new approaches to help them understand difficult concepts. I love coming up with new examples or intuitive ways of thinking through math problems. I think everybody can learn math, and I love helping students of all ages and backgrounds achieve their mathematical goals! I am a graduate of Rice University with a Bachelor of Science in Physics, a Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy, and a minor in Neuroscience. My previous tutoring experiences have primarily focused on college level physics, math, and chemistry; AP Calculus, AP Physics, and AP Chemistry; the ACT and SAT college entrance exams; general mathematics at the high school level; and middle school level math and english for state standardized testing. Hi! My name is Oscar, and I grew up in Washington, DC. I attended St. Olaf College and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in mathematics in 2023. That year I started tutoring students online and I now have two years of post-college tutoring experience. Math is a subject many students find stressful or intimidating. It might make them anxious, or math might be their least favorite class, or both! No matter where a student is coming from, my goal is to create a low-stress environment where he or she feels comfortable making mistakes and asking questions.
