I have a deep love for both reading and teaching, and I get a lot of joy out of building relationships with students and supporting them to achieve their academic goals. A little bit about me: I graduated from Howard University in 2022 with a Bachelor's Degree in English, and I am currently an English Literature PhD candidate at UCLA, where I'm working on my dissertation. I developed a love for teaching while working as a tutor and instructor at UCLA, and I'm hoping to work as a teaching professor or a high school teacher once I finish my program. I can help students in any English related areas, including writing, reading comprehension, and AP test prep. I can assist students with coursework or design my own lesson plans to meet student needs. In my free time, you can usually find me reading in a coffee shop, hanging out with my friends, or skateboarding around Los Angeles.
