- Through my academic work and research experience, I have developed the ability to break down complex problems into simple, clear steps.
- I focus on helping students truly understand the "why" behind each concept, not just memorize formulas.
About Me
I am currently a freshman at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology studying Mechanical Engineering with Computer Science, with a strong passion for mathematics, problem-solving, and teaching. I earned a perfect score on the SAT Math section and have extensive experience with advanced math concepts, standardized test strategies, and analytical thinking. My goal in SAT and ACT Math, as well as elementary through high school math prep, is to strengthen core foundations, improve speed and accuracy, and teach effective test-taking strategies. In addition to math, I also enjoy helping students with writing. My experience presenting research and working on technical projects has strengthened my ability to communicate ideas clearly and structure arguments effectively. I am also the author of two published books, "Reverie" and "Spotlight," which reflect my passion for storytelling and strong written communication. I aim to help students build confidence in both their quantitative skills and their writing so they can perform at their highest potential.
Hobbies & Interests
Outside of academics, I am deeply interested in robotics, artificial intelligence, and building hands-on engineering projects. I enjoy coding personal projects, exploring emerging technologies, and reading about innovation in science and technology. I am also a trained classical Indian dancer in Kuchipudi and completed my Rangapravesam (solo debut performance) after over 10 years of rigorous training. Dance has taught me discipline, creativity, stage presence, and dedication. In my free time, I enjoy reading both fiction and non-fiction, writing, mentoring younger students in STEM, and exploring new ideas that combine creativity with problem-solving.
