As a passionate educator with a Bachelor's in Film and Video Production from Columbia College Chicago, I have over 5 years of tutoring experience, complemented by more than 10 years in the classroom. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel confident to express themselves and explore their creativity. I believe that every student has unique strengths, and I strive to tailor my approach to meet their individual needs. Outside of teaching, I enjoy exploring storytelling through filmmaking and screenwriting, which enriches my ability to connect with students.

My interests and hobbies include filmmaking, screenwriting, coaching high school wrestling, and working out. I am currently involved in a local film group that collaborates on small independent projects and screening events. I have also been a wrestling coach for middle school and high school male and female athletes for over 15 years.
