About Me

I graduated with honors from Connecticut College, where I developed a strong passion for both math and writing. Since then, I have worked with students of different ages and backgrounds, helping them build confidence and overcome academic challenges. I tutor a variety of subjects, but math and literacy are my strongest areas. In math, I enjoy breaking down problems into clear, manageable steps and helping students understand why a strategy works, not just how to use it. In reading and writing, I enjoy helping students strengthen comprehension, organize their ideas, and express their thinking clearly and confidently. Whether we are working on math homework, reading passages, written responses, or test preparation, my goal is to make learning feel less overwhelming and more achievable. My tutoring style is supportive and student-focused. I take time to understand how each student learns and adjust my approach so they can build both skill and confidence.
