With over 5 years of dedicated tutoring experience, 20 years of classroom teaching experience, and a Master's degree in Reading Education from East Carolina University, I am passionate about fostering a love of learning in young children. I believe that when students feel supported, they can unlock their potential and discover the joy of learning. My goal is to create a nurturing environment where students can thrive academically and personally, paving the way for their future success.

Outside of teaching and tutoring, I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors. Some of my favorite hobbies include playing pickleball, walking, practicing Pilates, and hiking in different national parks. I also love reading fiction with my neighborhood book club and getting together with friends to play Bunco.
