About Me

I am passionate about helping students discover the beauty of mathematics and understand its everyday applications. What I love most about math is its claritythere is always a right or wrong answer, offering structure and logic. My goal as an educator is to foster confidence and enthusiasm in students while helping them build a solid foundation in mathematical concepts. For 12 years, I have been a public high school math teacher, primarily teaching geometry but also other high school math courses. I have extensive experience working with middle school students through student teaching and coaching sports, which has helped me connect with younger learners. Additionally, I have provided after-school tutoring for all math subjects, tailoring my approach to meet the needs of students at various skill levels. I hold a bachelor's degree in Integrated Mathematics Education from Ashland University, equipping me with a strong pedagogical foundation. I am excited to bring my experience and passion for math education to an online tutoring role, empowering students to master skills, gain confidence, and achieve their academic goals.
