Emily

A dedicated health science student with a strong academic foundation and a nearly 3.9 GPA, my mission is to provide flexible, student-centered tutoring across a variety of subjects, including literacy, science, health, and environmental studies. I believe every student learns differently, and I tailor my approach to meet their unique needswhether they're building reading skills, exploring science concepts, or strengthening academic confidence overall. With a focus on critical thinking, communication, and long-term understanding, I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to grow and succeed in any subject.

When I'm not studying or homeschooling my kids, you’ll find me tending to my 10 backyard hens on our small suburban homestead. I enjoy connecting with nature through hiking and rockhounding, and I love discovering new local restaurants. I'm also passionate about animal welfare and actively involved in pet rescue efforts.
