About Me

I am a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Binghamton University with a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature. I also hold a Master's Degree from Michigan State University in English Literature and Composition. While in graduate school I taught extensively in their ESL/EFL program helping international students improve their English writing, speaking, listening and reading comprehension. I also helped them prepare for the TOEFL test to improve their scores while in school. I have been a professional editor and publisher, working in the educational publishing field since graduation, and helped seasoned editors and writers improve their work. I strongly believe in the ability of students to improve their reading, writing and comprehension skills with focused one-on-one instruction and hope to share my enthusiasm for learning with any students that I tutor. In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, walking, swimming, and traveling. I have visited many cities in Europe, Asia, Canada, South and Central America and the United States. I love to share my learning with others and gain intercultural knowledge and communication from others as well.
