As an elementary\special education major with an add on math endorsement with over 19 years of teaching experience, I have dedicated my career to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments where all students can thrive. I believe that every child, regardless of their background or abilities, has the potential to succeed, and it is my mission to find the tools and strategies that will help them reach their full potential. This commitment drives my passion for teaching, particularly in the area of mathematics, where I work tirelessly to ensure that all students develop the skills and confidence they need to excel. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with diverse groups of students, including those with a wide range of learning differences. Every child learns differently, and it is my job to identify each student's unique strengths and challenges in order to provide individualized support that fosters both academic success and personal growth. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy a variety of hobbies that help me maintain a well-rounded and active lifestyle. I’m an avid fisherman, finding peace and relaxation by the water, where I can unwind and recharge. I’m also a dedicated fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and watching their games with family and friends is one of my favorite ways to bond. Staying active is important to me, so I make time to work out regularly, which helps me stay physically and mentally sharp. Coaching my kids in sports is another passion, as it allows me to share my love for teamwork and perseverance with the next generation. Family is at the heart of everything I do, and I cherish spending time with them, whether we’re hiking in the great outdoors or enjoying a quiet evening together. These hobbies keep me grounded, energized, and inspired, and they play a big role in shaping the positive, engaging mindset I bring to my teaching.
